Overview

The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) at the University of Birmingham is a prominent institution known for its dedication to scientific and technological education. Established in 2008, EPS comprises various schools, including Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Metallurgy and Materials, and Physics and Astronomy.

The college faced challenges with time-consuming manual note-taking and the difficulty of ensuring consistent student retention and engagement in complex subjects. To address these issues, EPS integrated StudyStash’s AI-powered revision tools into its curriculum. As a result of using StudyStash, students have successfully optimised their study routines, reducing time spent on manual note-taking and improving retention through techniques like spaced repetition. Students report increased confidence and improved understanding of complex concepts, showing the efficacy of StudyStash.
