Eastern Washington University has announced a new partnership with StudyStash, an adaptive learning platform built on proven neuroscience, to support students in completing their degrees and strengthen academic success initiatives across the university.

"We are excited to explore this partnership with StudyStash as part of our broader work to support student success and degree completion at Eastern Washington University. What I appreciate about StudyStash is that it gives students an additional way to check their understanding and see where they are doing well and where they may need more support. That kind of insight can help students feel more confident, stay engaged, and take greater ownership of their learning."

About Eastern Washington University

Founded in 1882 and home to about 10,000 students, Eastern Washington University has received a "Higher Access, Higher Earnings" designation as an Opportunity College and University by the Carnegie Foundation and has been recognized as a College of Distinction for its commitment to undergraduate success. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 19:1, the university is known as the region's polytechnic for its commitment to applied learning and career readiness.

Implementation and Student Support Focus

The implementation will integrate StudyStash directly within Eastern's online learning environment, supporting the university's Degree Completion program and providing students with personalized, adaptive study tools that respond to their individual needs. Following successful rollouts across a growing number of higher education institutions, the focus at Eastern Washington will be on student wellbeing, academic confidence, and equitable access to support.

StudyStash will be available across high-demand modules where support has the greatest impact, including Mathematics, Psychology, and Chemistry. Students will gain access to personalized flashcards, practice questions, and spaced repetition tools, all informed by the latest research in cognitive science. The partnership represents StudyStash's continued expansion across US higher education, bringing adaptive learning technology to the students who stand to benefit most.

"When students feel genuinely supported in their studies, something shifts. They develop a sense of belonging, engage more deeply with their learning community, and that confidence is what drives engagement and ultimately, progression."
