Coventry University sponsor StudyStash Digital Innovation Award

Ben Ward and Jonathan Graham, co-founders of StudyStash, recognised by Coventry University Group as the winners of Young Tech & Digitial innovators in the West Midlands.

The West Midlands Young Professional Awards (2023)

Young Tech and Digital Tech Professionals of the Year

Ben Ward and Jonathan Graham, award-winning young tech professionals and students at the University of Birmingham, have created StudyStash - a platform combining AI and neuroscience to transform the learning experience for University and Higher Ed students.

Throughout their second year at University, Ben and Jonathan struggled to engage with the course material. Faced with 300-page slide decks, constant testing, and hours of lectures, they decided to take action.

"We set off with a mission: To deliver brilliant outcomes for every student, whatever their ability, starting point or learning goal."

Using proven Al-driven analytics, they programmed StudyStash to identify concepts you struggle with and to help you improve your knowledge effectively and efficiently. In doing so, Ben and Jon are breaking away from the one-size-fits-all study model, creating a truly personalised learning environment tailored to your needs.

Initial testing in the School of Computer Science and Engineering revealed a widespread love for the platform, with students and faculty alike praising its innovative approach to personalised learning and its potential to enhance academic engagement. Similar results were quickly seen in schools across the West Midlands, with Harborne Academy, Wolverhampton Grammer School and Joseph Chamberlain College all adopting StudyStash as their go-to tool. From customising quizzes in Maths and Science to tailoring notes in French and German, StudyStash will revolutionise your approach to revision.

Gone are the days of disengaged students overwhelmed by complex content: This gamified approach monitors your progress and keeps you on track.

"The team is revolutionising revision from boring, broadcast content to a more engaging, adaptive learning experience for Universities across the UK, onboarding thousands of students at The University of Birmingham in September 2024."
